David Smith is deaf. And he loves volleyball.

He has played on 3 Olympic teams. He says people should think about what they CAN do, not what they cannot.

Read More: David was born nearly deaf. Hearing aids help a bit. His mom homeschooled him until he could read well. Then he started public school. His parents also encouraged him to play sports. He watched and learned how to play volleyball with a team. He got better and better. He has been on the 2012, 2016, and 2020 U.S. Olympic volleyball teams. He won a bronze medal in 2016. Philippians 4:13 tells us, “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”
